à la folie

Formerly kingsguard. My name is Konika though I've been called everything from Koko to Konka Truck to Kinko's. I'm a twenty-two year old nerdified loser, sheep, procrastinator, and college student with no direction. I enjoy foreign films and all things that induce endorphins the shade of sunshine yellow.
Currently preoccupied with: Game of Thrones, Breaking Bad, Downton Abbey, Suits, The Hour, Felicity Jones' face, and anything at all Avengers related.

Briony: So, my sister and Robbie were never able to have the time together they both so longed for and deserved. Which ever since I’ve…ever since I’ve always felt I prevented. But what sense of hope or satisfaction could a reader derive from an ending like that? So in the book, I wanted to give Robbie and Cecilia what they lost out on in life. I’d like to think this isn’t weakness or evasion, but a final act of kindness. I gave them their happiness.

Robbie: Dearest Cecilia, the story can resume. The one I had been planning on that evening walk. I can become again the man who once crossed the surrey park at dusk, in my best suit, swaggering on the promise of life. The man who, with the clarity of passion, made love to you in the library. The story can resume. I will return. Find you, love you, marry you and live without shame.

Chuck: A minute seems awfully arbitrary. Ned: A minute’s a long time: a lot can happen in a minute. Besides, the longer someone’s around that’s not supposed to be around, the more likely that something will happen. Not necessarily directly or by any fault of theirs, but y’know, butterfly wings and such. Chuck: What about them? Ned: They cause hurricanes. Chuck: Oh, right. Am I a hurricane? Ned: A little bit, but I like the weather – [plastic wrap kiss] Ned: You really shouldn’t do that.

Logan: Hmmm, what’s different about you? Did you cut your hair or something? FYI, if the cuddling is the best part, he didn’t do it right.

Veronica: Hey, do you think this…thing will ever get more normal? Logan: What? Like, will we ever get to hang at the mall and hold hands and buy each other teddy bears with hearts that say ‘I love you beary much’? Veronica: Yes, exactly that. Except I want my bear won through some sort of demonstration of ring tossing ability.

Veronica: What? I blockaded the door. I hung an out of order sign. Logan: This is wrong. I mean, a boy in girls bathroom is just… Veronica: So wrong, it’s right?

I’ve reached a milestone of sorts on tumblr, and I thought I’d celebrate by posting some of my favorite couples/scenes from various shows and movies. Bear with me if they’re not your cup of tea?

Lars: You don’t care. Karin: We don’t care? We do care! Lars: No you don’t. Karin: That is just not true! God! Every person in this town bends over backward to make Bianca feel at home. Why do you think she has so many places to go and so much to do? Huh? Huh? Because of you! Because - all these people - love you! We push her wheelchair. We drive her to work. We drive her home. We wash her. We dress her. We get her up, and put her to bed. We carry her. And she is not petite, Lars. Bianca is a big, big girl! None of this is easy - for any of us - but we do it… Oh! We do it for you! So don’t you dare tell me how we don’t care.
